Spiro Premetis has started at the FSC as our Executive Director for Advocacy, bringing with him extensive experience in financial services policy and politics.
Spiro will be responsible for coordinating and leading advocacy at the FSC as the industry responds to ongoing legislative and regulatory change.
His experience will be a valuable contribution to the team as the industry responds to the complexity inherent in a Federal Election and the formation of the 47th Parliament.
Spiro had previously worked in the Treasurer’s office as Adviser for Financial Services and Superannuation and at the FSC as a Senior Policy Manager in life insurance portfolio and across tax and economics, as well within industry at FSC member companies and at the Federal Treasury.
