Blair will be appointed CEO of AMP effective from 30 March 2026
Originally joining AMP in 2009 Blair has been the Chief Financial Officer since July 2023. Prior to that Blair was the CEO/Managing Director of New Zealand Wealth Management from January 2017, and prior to this served as AMP’s Director Retail Financial Services; Director of Advice & Sales and General Manager Marketing and Distribution.
From August 2020 to January 2021, Blair also served as Acting CEO for AMP Australia, where he was responsible for AMP’s wealth management and banking divisions with a focus on strengthening client-led outcomes.
Blair has over 30 years’ experience across the financial services sector in New Zealand and Australia.
Blair is a former director of the FSC and served on the Board in 2020.
He holds a Bachelor or Business Studies from Massey University (New Zealand) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Banking from Massey University.
