Diploma of Personal Trusts - FNS52015

Qualification Overview

This qualification reflects the job role of individuals working in organisations offering personal trustee services. At this level individuals are expected to apply theoretical and specialised skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in completing activities. They have autonomy in performing complex technical work and can be responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the work of others within broad but generally well defined parameters.

Who should do this course?

The FNS52015 Diploma of Personal Trusts is designed for people currently working in the personal trust industry who administer complex estates and trusts, advise clients on estate planning and trust structures, supervise and manage teams or staff, delegate work and responsibilities as needed, and work on complex types of financial plans relevant to the personal trustees sector.

Course Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for FNS52015 Diploma of Personal Trusts.

Whilst there are no entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended learners:

1.      Are currently working in an organisation that provides trustee services

2.      Have access to workplace policies/procedures, template documents, forms and business systems

3.      Have access to a variety of client files, either actual clients or training files

4.      Have line manager support as you may be required to work outside learners normal work activities

5.      Have an experienced staff member who is willing to act as a mentor

Pathways from the Qualification

Successful completion of this Diploma may grant you entry into higher education study with Western Sydney University.
