Pauline Blight-Johnston is a Director of the Financial Services Council ("FSC") and Co-Chairs the FSC's Life Board Committee.

Pauline is Managing Director of RGA Reinsurance Company of Australia Limited and is responsible for RGA’s business in Australia and New Zealand.

Pauline has over 18 years of actuarial and financial management experience in the life insurance industry, both in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining RGA in 2007, she was Chief Financial Officer and Appointed Actuary for Asteron Life. Before then, she was a consulting actuary with Tillinghast and an investment banker with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Pauline has a Bachelor’s and a Master of Economics degree from Macquarie University, and a graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, a Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa, a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. She is currently a Director of the Financial Services Council and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and has previously served on many committees of the Financial Services Council and the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
