Geoff Summerhayes is a Director of the Financial Services Council ("FSC") and Co-Chairs the FSC's Life Board Committee.

Geoff Summerhayes is the Chief Executive Officer of Suncorp Life.

Geoff joined Suncorp in his current role in May 2008 following more than 20 years of property and financial services experience at Lend Lease, MLC and NAB.  Prior to joining Suncorp, he held senior executive roles in distribution and product management in NAB’s Business Bank, Strategy and Business Development for NAB’s Australia and Asia Region and was prior to that, CEO Retail Investments at MLC.

Geoff is refocusing Suncorp Life as a life insurance specialist with complementary business in Superannuation.

Suncorp Life is a leading life insurer to IFA’s through Asteron and is building a direct business through Suncorp brands including GIO, APIA and AAMI.
