Peter Maher is Chairman of the Financial Services Council (FSC), Chairman of the FSC's Administration & Risk Board Committee and Chairman of the FSC's Nominations Board Committee.

Peter joined Macquarie in November 2000 and is the Group Head, Banking & Financial Services (BFS).

Peter is responsible for approximately 3000 staff globally in 9 countries.  BFS has over $122 billion in funds under advice / administration / management and is building a global advice network focusing on high net worth advisers and their clients, delivering them a range of solutions including cash, platforms, banking, investments and insurance.
